Four Seasons team earns highest honors at recent WordMasters Challenge
A team of fifth-graders from Four Seasons A+ Elementary recently achieved Highest Honors in the recent WordMasters Challenge, an annual national vocabulary competition involving nearly 150,000 students. The Four Seasons A+ Elementary team scored an impressive 186 points out of a possible 200 in the first of three meets this year, placing seventh in the nation.

Competing in the difficult Blue Division of the WordMasters Challenge, third-grader Maria Reyenga and fifth-graders William Manor, Cayenne Ramirez and Rana Egan (who is a fourth grader working in a fifth grade group) each earned a perfect score of 20 on the challenge.

Nationally, only 19 third-graders and 52 fifth-graders achieved this result. Other students from Four Seasons A+ Elementary who achieved outstanding results in the meet include fifth-grader Marissa Rauer and third-grader Lorenzo Valera. Elizabeth Mena and Eli Dill coached and prepared the students for the WordMasters Challenge.
