Firefighters outfit 2,000 Saint Paul, Minneapolis students with winter coats
Nearly 2,000 children from low-income families will be outfitted with brand new winter coats Friday, Oct. 24, thanks to Minneapolis and Saint Paul firefighters as part of Operation Warm.

This year, Saint Paul firefighters joined Minneapolis firefighters in the effort and will donate coats to nearly 500 children in Saint Paul Public Schools. With guidance from the Minneapolis firefighters, they kicked off their fundraising with an event at Flat Earth Brewery. Their coat celebration is scheduled for Friday at Dayton's Bluff Achievement Plus Elementary with Mayor Chris Coleman in attendance.
