International delegation creates mural with Saint Paul students
An international group of young emerging leaders and Linwood Monroe Arts Plus School fourth-graders recently created a mural of the world in the school cafeteria.

The mural, completed Sept. 24, is based on the popular U.S. Peace Corps World Map Project that seeks to build friendship and understanding across cultures through the cooperative creation of world maps at schools around the world.

The Linwood Monroe Arts Plus map represents the different ecological zones of the earth, creating a beautiful piece of public art. The fourth-graders interviewed the international visitors, who represented 19 countries worldwide, to learn about their countries and teach songs and dances from their cultures.
