Patricia Larkey receives ING Unsung Hero award
Farnsworth AeroSpace 5-8 Campus Band Director Patricia Larkey recently received an ING Unsung Hero award. The $2,000 grant award--given to the Farnsworth Band--will be used to purchase pre-owned clarinets and saxophones, which will allow 20-30 more students to play in the school band. (photo)

2014 Summer graduation
SPPS leaders and families celebrated student success Aug. 23 at St. Catherine University. The 2014 Summer Graduation Ceremony recognized SPPS students who had worked hard in summer school to finish high school and receive their diplomas. Because of their diligence and determination, they received the ultimate reward of a K-12 education, their diploma and a brighter outlook for their future.
