Four Seasons students earn Highest Honors in second WordMasters Challenge
A team representing Four Seasons A+ Elementary earned Highest Honors in the recent WordMasters Challenge — a national vocabulary competition involving nearly 150,000 students annually. The third grade team scored 183 points out of a possible 200 in the second of three meets this year, placing fourth in the nation.

Competing in the difficult Blue Division of the WordMasters Challenge, third-graders Senay Fesshiai and Maria Reyenga and fourth-grader Rana Egan each earned a perfect score of 20 on the challenge. Nationally, only 23 third-graders achieved perfect scores. Third-grader Monteff Dixon also achieved outstanding results in the meet. The students were coached by Eli Dill.

SPPS Board of Education recognizes Winter sports teams, athletes and coaches
At its monthly meeting on March 22, the Saint Paul Public Schools Board of Education recognized schools, teams, student athletes and coaches who won athletic awards or championships and those who qualified to participate in the State Tournament during the winter sports season.
