Central High drama students help train city workers
Drama students at Central Senior High School recently used their acting skills to help save lives during an emergency drill with the City of Saint Paul. About 15 students from the Central Touring Theatre participated in a tornado drill Oct. 25 where they portrayed disaster victims at an emergency shelter, said acting teacher Emily Gill. Central High tennis team wins conference titles
This fall the Central High School Girls Tennis Team won their 12th conference title and their 6th Twin Cities title. They then started Section 4AA Tournament play on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

Central made it to the quarterfinals in the Team Competition for 4AA Tournament. This year representing Central High School for the 4AA Individual Competition were:

  • Frances Kane (single)
  • Natalie Carlson (single)
  • Helen and Zoe Klass-Warch (doubles)
  • Caitlyn Norman and Meishan Roen (doubles)

All students won their first round matches. Kane, Carlson and the Norman/Roen doubles team lost in the second round. The Klass-Warch doubles team went on to be the State 4AA Doubles Tournament runner ups.
