How do you choose to eat well?
Tell us how you Choose to Eat Well and earn yourself a free MN Thursday Meal at your local SPPS cafeteria. Nutrition Services at SPPS this year began partnering with Minneapolis Public Schools to support Minnesota farmers and serve fresh food to students during “Minnesota Thursdays.”

On the first Thursday of each month both districts’ menus will feature seasonal Minnesota-grown ingredients. This new effort highlights local farmers, ranchers and companies while providing fresh, delicious lunch options for our students. Staff have the opportunity to eat, and support, fresh and local food too!

Simply fill out this survey and tell us how you choose to eat well. Those who complete the survey will receive a coupon for one free MN Local Thursday meal, redeemable at an SPPS cafeteria. You can model healthy eating habits and eat a fresh, local meal with your SPPS students.

The next MN Thursday meal on Jan. 8 will be a homemade turkey chili (using Ferndale Market turkey); a side of freshly baked homemade, whole grain honey corn bread; herb roasted potatoes and apple wedges.

Share your meal with SPPS staff and others on social media by posting a picture of your tray along with #MNThurs #ChooseWellLiveWell.
