Save the date: SPPS Health & Benefits Fair on Thursday, Oct. 23
Save the date for the first annual SPPS Health & Benefits Fair from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at the district headquarters, 360 Colborne St. Join your colleagues for a fun, healthy event. Learn more about the resources available to you and how you can take small steps to live well. There will be giveaways and prize opportunities.

Resources and vendors will include:

  • HealthPartners Medical
  • HealthPartners Dental
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Free Flu Shots
  • Free Blood pressure Readings
  • Breakout sessions, including a healthy cooking demo from Cooks of Crocus Hill
  • Many more!

Today is the deadline for the Last Chance Program, Choose H20
Did you or your covered spouse forget to participate in a wellness activity? Today is the deadline for the Last Chance Program, Choose H20. Choose H20 is your last chance to qualify for savings in 2015. As long as you and your covered spouse completed the health assessment by the Sept. 30 deadline, you can still participate in this last chance program in order to qualify for the healthcare savings. Sign up today - it's not too late.

Focus on one of your basic needs and learn how staying hydrated can benefit both your mind and body. The Choose H20 program is easy. Aim to drink at least eight, eight-ounce glasses of water per day. Track your daily water consumption on your Choose H20 Tracker.

  1. Register here by today, Oct. 6.
  2. Track your daily water consumption on your Choose H20 Tracker. (Track at least once a week)
  3. Send in your completed tracker to Karly Farrell, Wellness Program Manager before Nov. 7, 2014.

You'll also receive weekly email tips to help you complete the program. The Choose H20 program kicks off Monday, Oct. 6, and continues through Friday, Nov. 7. You still had to complete your health assessment by Sept. 30.
