Register your building for National Bike/Walk to School Day on Oct. 8
Student Health and Wellness is encouraging SPPS students and staff to participate in National Walk/Bike to School Day on October 8. Bike/walk events can:

  • foster academic achievement
  • improve student health
  • raise environmental awareness
  • build connections among families, schools and the larger community.

SPPS will join children and adults around the world to celebrate the benefits of walking and biking to school.

All students and staff who walk or bike to school will receive a “I Walked” or “I Biked” sticker, and the site with the highest participation will receive the first annual traveling trophy. If your site is interested in participating, complete this site registration survey by Sept. 29.

Use this flyer to post at your school or send home with parents. Please consider your site’s ability to accommodate multiple bikes for the day. Check with your site administrator to approve your participation. Email Karly Farrell at karly.farrell@spps.org or Carol Grady at carol.grady@spps.org learn more.

Last chance to save! Choose H20 and see rewards
