Save the date: National African American Parent Involvement Day is Monday, February 10, 2014.
National African American Parent Involvement Day (NAAPID) is a national call to action to get parents, particularly those of children of African descent, more involved in their children's educational lives. While the focus of the day -- which takes place during African American History Month -- is primarily on African Americans, the purpose and intent of NAAPID is inclusive, not exclusive. ALL parents are encouraged to participate.

To see what schools did last school year to recognize this day, visit the 2013 NAAPID website
