Transportation debuts new app, web pages to track bus status
MySPPS Bus, the new status-tracking app for SPPS buses, is now available on all school websites. The MySPPS Bus app is available through Google Play and the Apple App Store. This service will help the Transportation Department communicate bus delay information directly to school staff, families and students.

Informational fliers are available here:

School bus information is available on every school's website. Go to your school's website and enter /bus at the end of the website address. (For example:

Your dedicated /bus webpage will automatically load the bus routes serving your school. Green indicates the routes are on time; yellow indicates a delay of more than 10 minutes; and red means the bus service has been canceled. The dedicated bus pages on school websites will automatically refresh with the latest updates every three minutes. A list of all school bus routes can be found at

Please note: This new app does not replace direct communications to families when a bus is significantly delayed. Though we anticipate MySPPS Bus will reduce phone calls from families, you should continue using Connect 5 to inform them about school bus delays. For more information, contact
