From the Superintendent: A Great First Week of School!

What a great first week of school! For me the week was a whirlwind of school visits, spending time in classrooms and talking with students, families and staff. Every visit reaffirmed my belief that we have the strongest teaching and support staff in the state. Our students entered our buildings with smiles, laughter and filled with the hope that each new year brings -- because of each of you.

Video: SPPS staff recognized for 25 years of service

Each year, SPPS recognizes employees on their 25th anniversary of employment at a luncheon during Opening Week. During the ceremony, each 25-year employee receives a clock with his or her name engraved on it. Hear from fellow staff members about their 25 years of service.
