What a great way to begin Teacher Appreciation Week! On Sunday, May 3, LEAP's Amy Hewett-Olatunde was named the 2015 Minnesota Teacher of the Year. Congratulations on a well-deserved honor and recognition!

Amy Hewett-Olatunde, a teacher at LEAP High School, and Erik Brandt, an English teacher and IB Program Coordinator at Harding Senior High School, were two of the 10 finalists for the 2015 Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award. Hewett-Olatunde won the award on Sunday, May 3, 2015.
