From the Superintendent: State Recognition for PBIS Work

Last week our district received great news. The Minnesota Department of Education recognized SPPS for successful work using Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS). SPPS was awarded the 2016 District PBIS Recognition -- the first time we have ever been honored in this way.

Video: SPPS students and staff honored at annual Celebration of Excellence

On Sunday, May 15, the top academic-performing seniors from SPPS were honored at the annual Celebration of Excellence. Students took time to thank the teacher or staff member who helped them achieve excellence. Staff members also received a gift - an art print framed with a quote from their nominating student.
