From the Superintendent: Preparing for Graduation Day

Sunday's Celebration of Excellence recognizing seniors with the highest GPA at each school marked the beginning of our graduation season. In just a few short weeks we will see over 2,200 of our students walk across the stage -- each a testament to the commitment and expertise of you, our amazing staff.

The Honoring Project is a year-long enrichment program for sixth grade African and African American male students. The program focuses on leadership, critical literacy skills, and college and career readiness. During the year, student participants have an opportunity to work with a leadership team from Saint Paul Public Schools alumni and staff along with community and civic leaders. The Honoring Project year-end celebration featured African and African American male students from Battle Creek Middle School, Farnsworth Aerospace 5-8, Hazel Park Preparatory Academy and Murray Middle School.
