From the Superintendent: We are a collection of exceptional experiences

I recently mentioned how the collective measure of our work with students cannot be reflected in a single test. Our work is best represented by the exceptional experiences we provide – day after day, year after year. Throughout the next several weeks, I will highlight some of those experiences.

Video: Famous author visits Murray Middle School

Students at Murray had an amazing opportunity on April 22, when author Jon Scieszka visited the school. Scieszka, known for his weird and funny stories, toured the school and gave advice to students who were writing their own weird and funny stories. The visit was sponsored by the University of Minnesota’s Read and Meet Project.
