From the Superintendent: As Committed as Ever to Seeing Our Students Succeed

I have always approached this job with a sense of urgency. I am as committed as ever to making sure that all of our students, in all of their diversity, have the best chance for the outstanding education they deserve.

Adding Art to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) has enhanced learning and inspired students at several SPPS elementary schools. Using STE(A)M resources, teachers, residency artists, and science personnel collaborate to provide education opportunities that allow students to demonstrate knowledge in artistic and creative ways.
