Video: Shirley's Shelf helping families in need at Cherokee Heights Elementary

Helping families with food donations has been a holiday tradition for Cherokee Heights staff. Recognizing a need to expand assistance beyond food, the school is launching "Shirley's Shelf" this year. Conceived by parent coordinator Shirley Andino and her committee of staff volunteers, the shelf carries personal care items and clothing for students and families. Through the SPPS Giving Campaign, Cherokee staff are designating “write-in” gifts to Cherokee Heights to help stock the shelves. Give to your favorite school, community group or program today by visiting giving.spps.org.
